Kamalakanter Daptar is a collection of “Probondho” or essays written by Bankim Chandra Chattopadhyay. The first edition of the book was published in 1875 titled Kamalakanter Daftar. (14 essays in total, 11 of them by Bankimchandra). In this book, the author describes information, logic, society, religion, and statehood in the words of Kamalakanta, a Brahmin Afinkhor. The book is considered to be one of Bankimchandra’s best works.
